Hotdesking Facilities
The GTi hotdesking business incubation facility offers a pleasant, professional open-plan office environment with broadband internet access (with wi-fi), telephones and fax.
The incubator works on the principle that new businesses are unlikely to need a dedicated office at the very beginning. Sharing facilities is cost effective, and the ‘hotdesking’ principle is tried, tested and successful. Businesses are able to use any Mac or PC that is available in the GTi office. Their files are stored on a central networked server, and are fully accessible from all computers. Data is secure and backed up daily.
The GTi meeting room seats up to 6 and has a conference phone and SmartBoard.
GTi provides Macs and PCs with a range of business level software, for example:
- Microsoft Windows XP
- Microsoft Office
- Final Cut Pro
- Adobe Suite
- Quark Xpress
- Swift 3D.
Laser printers are available, as well as document production capacity.
GTi provides a credible, quality business address, and outgoing mail can be franked. Incoming mail is received and held in a ‘poste restante’. Mail may be forwarded on request.
Within the Valleys Innovation Centre are a number of meeting rooms and the Cynon Suite Conference Room, available at tenants’ rates.
The building has a reception facility from 7am to 9pm, with electronic access out of hours.
The building is located about 5 miles north of Pontypridd, with close proximity to the A470, Abercynon train station and Abercynon village.
